📈 PSAT/SAT Prep Program: Dr. Test Prep
Click Here for PSAT/SAT PrepThe @DrTestPrep YouTube channel (DrTestPrep.com) shows students how to create an affordable PSAT/SAT Prep program using completely free resources.
The four components are:- Bluebook App - created by the College Board (who writes and administers the SAT) - content most mimics the test and shows strengths, areas to improve, and question application. What it lacks? instruction.
- Khan Academy - the only official partner of the College Board - creates a customized plan based on current levels. What it lacks? Engaging videos and most math videos lack any instruction on the Desmos calculator - which is now permitted on every math question.
- Schoolhouse.world - founded by Sal Khan (from Khan Academy) and offers free boot camps with certified peer tutors. It is helpful for students who need to ask questions. What it lacks? Flexibility and availability.
- Dr. Test Prep YouTube channel - created by Dr. Michelle Ihrig with a focus on engaging math content that explicitly teaches students how to use the Desmos calculator and how to utilize the other free resources. All content is directly aligned with Khan Academy for a seamless integration. The companion book is optional, though helpful.
Students in Dr. Ihrig's other Free SAT Prep Programs rasied their scores over 70 points in just six weeks... others over 120 points in 3 months.
